Aligning Your Assignments for Program Assessment in AEFIS

As part of the assessment process, we want to ensure that students have the opportunity to achieve program-level learning outcomes and we want to measure how well students are achieving these outcomes. In this workshop, we will discuss how to select assignments that are aligned to program-level outcomes; how the process of grading can be used to score student achievement on program-level learning outcomes; and how you can link your assignments and grades from Canvas and other platforms for import into AEFIS (the university-wide platform for collecting and sharing assessment data). To make the most of this session, bring your course syllabus and assignments. This workshop is a collaboration of the Office of Institutional Assessment and Evaluation and the Center for Advancing Teaching and Learning Through Research.
