Curating and Creating Open Education Resources for Inclusive Learning

Jul 11 • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Open Education Resources (OERs), which are materials available online at low or no cost, can help students consider a broader range of examples and perspectives and contribute to a more inclusive learning experience. A first step to implementing OERs may involve providing your own curated collection, but you can also engage students actively in identifying or even creating their own OERs for use within and beyond the class. This workshop, in collaboration with the Northeastern Library, will share examples of how Northeastern faculty are incorporating and leveraging OERs to improve their students’ learning. You will also explore opportunities for OER integration into one of your course units or assignments.

For Future Faculty Program participants, this session fulfills the “Diversity and Inclusive Teaching” requirement.

This session is only open to Northeastern University educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
