Developing Student-Centered Learning Outcomes

Developing learning outcomes is the first step in soundly designing a course or other learning experience through the process of constructive alignment, where all components of the learning experience work together to help students achieve specific outcomes. In this workshop, you will be guided through the process for developing or refining your learning outcomes, including how to use the SAIL framework to facilitate the process. Lunch will be provided.

Recommended for: Northeastern University educators interested in developing or refining learning outcomes for a course or other learning experience.

For Future Faculty Program participants, this session fulfills the “Course & Syllabus Design” requirement.
