Educator Exchange: What I’ve Learned From Teaching in Formats Like Hybrid NUFlex

Jul 23 • 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Some faculty at Northeastern already have experience teaching in formats similar to Hybrid NUFlex and have “lessons learned” to share. In this educator exchange, CPS Assistant Dean and award-winning professor Darin Detwiler will share concrete ways he has cultivated student learning and engagement while teaching with some students physically present in the room and others regularly connecting remotely in real time. He will share a discussion board task format he uses to maximize student preparation between class sessions, as well as specific ways to apply concepts and build community during class time.

This session is only open to Northeastern University educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering. You cannot be enrolled in the course without Northeastern credentials.
