Introduction to Curriculum Mapping

Mar 1 • 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm

A curriculum map helps visualize how course-level outcomes match program learning outcomes, which shows how each course contributes to a coherent program. Typically a grid or matrix, creating a map helps identify strengths and reveal gaps in an overall program design. For those working on program-level assessment, learn how to create a basic curriculum map, see examples of curriculum maps from across different disciplines, and get started drafting a curriculum map for your program. This workshop is a collaboration with the Office of Institutional Assessment and Evaluation. Part of the work of creating a culture of assessment is building connections among people involved in this work. To that end, participant names may be shared with others working on assessment in their college at Northeastern.

This session is only open to Northeastern University students, staff and educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
