Educators continuously explore questions like “what kinds of comments and feedback are most useful? How can I help my students without doing their work for them? How do I handle the workload and make grading time efﬁcient?” Acting on these questions can also lead you to use more equitable feedback and grading strategies. In this workshop, learn strategies from the arts, STEM, social sciences, and humanities that make feedback more actionable and grading less onerous. Practices include evidence-based self-assessments, informative peer review, and pass-fail grading that makes specifications transparent.
