Optimizing Problem Sets for Student Engagement

Sep 29 • 9:15 am - 10:30 am

Problem sets are a fixture in introductory STEM courses, as both a testing and learning tool. In this workshop, you will discuss evidence-based practices for STEM problem sets and strategize ways that facilitate student engagement and yield formative feedback in the classroom. You will exchange ideas, reflect on problem sets in your course context, and identify ways to enhance students’ learning experiences.

For Future Faculty Program participants, this session fulfills the “Assignments, Assessment and Active Learning” requirement.

This session is only open to Northeastern University educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
