In this two-part workshop series, participants will have an opportunity to gain new insight into their online teaching through a formative process of self-reflection and reciprocal online course observation with colleagues in different disciplines. In Part 1, participants will form pairs or triads and discuss goals for class “visits” with their partner(s). Between sessions, colleagues will use a set of guidelines to observe each others’ courses. In Part 2, participants will reconvene to share what they learned from the observation process, as well as any key insights that helped to improve their teaching. This series is intended to encourage a mutually supportive space for reflection and conversation about teaching.
Please note that participants are required to register and attend both Part 1 and Part 2. Attendees must register separately for both sessions via Eventbrite.
