This self-paced workshop is designed for faculty who are preparing to teach fully online courses that are primarily asynchronous – in other words, students and instructors participate at different times during scheduled class sessions. The three modules of the course address three roles for faculty: setting course climate, supporting discourse among students, and monitoring and regulating learning. Participants who complete all workshop activity will develop a facilitation plan for their online course that is structured around these three roles.
