Supporting Learning in Your Context With Mindfulness Practices

Jun 24 • 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Research shows that mindfulness and contemplative practices support learners in a wide variety of disciplines and contexts. In this community conversation, offered in collaboration with the Center for Spirituality, Dialogue, and Service (CSDS), we will explore brief readings that identify evidence-based contemplative approaches to support learning. Then we will delve into how to implement such practices in your classroom or other learning environment. No prior experience with mindfulness or contemplative pedagogy is required to participate.

For Future Faculty Program participants, this session fulfills the “Diversity and Inclusive Teaching” requirement.

This session is only open to Northeastern University educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
