Teaching at the Crossroads: Multi-disciplinary Practices and Pedagogies

Feb 11 • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

When different disciplines come together, their combination can spark great creativity and innovation in teaching and learning. Multi-disciplinary teaching may involve educators from different disciplines or a single educator taking an intentionally multi-disciplinary approach. In this educator exchange, you will hear from educators who have created different kinds of multi-disciplinary learning experiences. After they share their experiences and lessons learned, we will consider how we might incorporate multi-disciplinary activities into our teaching practice. Come away with at least one idea for an activity informed by a multi-disciplinary approach.

For Future Faculty Program participants, this session fulfills the “Course and Syllabus Design” requirement.

This session is only open to Northeastern University educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
