In the Hybrid NUflex format, instructors will teach students, who are participating either on-ground or remotely, in a single synchronous session. Consequently, creating engaging, accessible lecture materials can be particularly challenging. In this workshop, we will discuss considerations for creating accessible lecture materials (e.g., PowerPoints, presentations, Canvas modules) for Hybrid NUflex classroom formats. Educators will identify strategies to facilitate accessibility both on-ground and online.
For Future Faculty Program participants, this session fulfills the “Diversity & Inclusive Teaching” requirement.
This session is only open to Northeastern University educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering. You cannot be enrolled in the course without Northeastern credentials.
