Workshop: Getting Started Teaching with Canvas

Jul 15 • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Whether you are teaching your course on-ground, online, or in the NUflex model, you can make strategic use of your Canvas course site to create learning experiences that are engaging and organized for your students. In this session, we suggest a structure for an online module in Canvas and move through the basic practices for keeping you and your students on the same page throughout the semester. Though we will talk about what certain tools can and cannot do, this is not a tools training—a schedule of hands-on tool trainings is available at: https://digitalresilience.northeastern.edu/support-and-training/

This session is only open to Northeastern University educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering. You cannot be enrolled in the course without Northeastern credentials.

For Future Faculty Program Participants, this session fulfills the “Course & Syllabus Design” requirement.
