When I began to use ChatGPT in my personal life, I immediately started thinking about how it could help my students search for and obtain co-op jobs. I began taking advantage of trainings offered at Northeastern and elsewhere and talked to colleagues about possibilities. I understood there was fear around AI but could also see it wasn’t going to go away, and it was important to get ahead of it. As a result, I wove the use of generative AI into most aspects of my class and the co-op preparation process.
