Active Learning for Skills-based Teaching

Sep 27 • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

“Active learning” refers to a wide range of teaching and learning practices that ask students to do something with course ideas, lectures, and materials. There are many ways to introduce active learning in your class–different techniques are effective for different purposes, can be used by individuals or groups, and require different levels of preparation. In this workshop, participants will experience and discuss examples of these techniques for easy implementation into their teaching contexts.

This session is only open to Northeastern University students, staff and educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
