Designing for Inclusion Across Physical and Psychological Diversity, Part 1

Mar 12 • 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm

Our community includes students with differences such as mental health challenges and neurodivergence. By designing learning experiences with this diversity in mind, we can reduce barriers to equitable learning and more smoothly respond to individual accommodations. In this series we discuss how to anticipate and design for diverse student needs, drawing from a variety of perspectives and resources. Participants will exchange ideas about adapting these principles to their teaching context.

For Part 1, our discussion is grounded by the driving question, “How can we identify potential barriers to equitable learning?”
Participants are strongly encouraged to attend all three sessions. Please register for Part 2 and Part 3 separately.

Preparation materials will be distributed ahead of time

This session is only open to Northeastern University students, staff, and educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
