Program Assessment Planning
To ensure students thrive academically, Northeastern uses programmatic assessment – a systematic review of student learning – to grow and improve their programs. In this workshop, we will review how to build a multi-year assessment plan including: updating program outcomes, identifying student work that aligns with program outcomes, planning data collection and analysis, and using AEFIS software to facilitate assessment. We will discuss strategies for implementing the assessment plan each semester utilizing the AEFIS software platform.
This workshop is primarily intended for program directors/coordinators who plan to collect assessment data in Spring 2023, but would benefit anyone facilitating the assessment process for an academic degree program. This workshop is a collaboration with the Office of Institutional Assessment and Evaluation. Part of the work of creating a culture of assessment is building connections among people involved in this work. To that end, participant names may be shared with others working on assessment in their college at Northeastern.
