Supporting International Students as Learners

Jul 29 • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The experience of each international student is unique, but this population shares the common experience of learning within a culture that is often new to them, being away from family, and operating within systems of constraints (e.g., work and visa compliance). International students bring a rich diversity of perspectives that an educator can invite into the class experience to improve the learning for everyone. In this educator exchange the panelists will consider the needs and perspectives of international students, exploring approaches that clarify expectations, increase belonging, and improve the quality of the learning experience for all students.

This session is only open to Northeastern University students, staff, and educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
