Supporting International Students as Learners

Jul 29 • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The experience of each international student is unique, but this population shares the common experience of learning within a culture that is often new to them, being away from family, and operating within systems of constraints (e.g., work and visa compliance). International students bring a rich diversity of perspectives that an educator can invite into the class experience to improve the learning for everyone. In this workshop we will consider the needs and perspectives of international students and explore creative approaches to teaching and learning that can benefit the whole class.

This session is only open to Northeastern University students, staff, and educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
