Using Driving Questions to Focus and Motivate Learning

Mar 28 • 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Driving questions are carefully crafted, evidence-based practices used to propel students toward targeted knowledge, skills, project tasks, and learning goals. Prompting these processes with a driving question, rather than a to-do list, can generate learner interest and motivation, focus attention, and foster self-directed learning. In this workshop, you will learn how to leverage driving questions to focus and motivate learning across disciplines. For Future Faculty Program participants, this session fulfills the “Assignments, Assessment, and Active Learning” requirement.

This session is only open to Northeastern University students, staff and educators. Please use your Northeastern email when registering.
