In my courses, I encourage students to engage thoughtfully with AI tools while preserving their own analytical capabilities. AI may be used for brainstorming, research assistance, writing support, and technical tasks, but not to substitute for original thinking, and any use must be disclosed. Students are responsible for verifying anything AI produces, since these tools can generate biased, inaccurate, or incomplete information.
